Rise Entertainment Collective started as a freelance passion project back in 2020. I was fortunate to meet and work with many talented people who ignited my passion for consulting, marketing, and PR. Over COVID-19, I had the chance to meet and connect with local small businesses, and they all shared a common issue when it came to growth: one person cannot develop a quality product and deliver it to the market without either burning out or losing out on quality. That's where Rise Entertainment Collective was founded.
In our first year of operations, we were fortunate to partner and onboard a great variety of clients, including those same small business owners. My vision and strategy for REC focused on idea exchange, between REC staff, between our consultant and clients, and even between all small businesses.
Having our centre of operations in Toronto, we can tap into the deep and diverse entertainment and creative landscape. Not only do we have deep roots in most Toronto post-secondary institutions, we work directly with companies like MLSE to support the continued growth and development of our brands.
