Policies and Refund Terms:

Welcome to Rise Entertainment Collective Toronto (REC Toronto). Below are our policies regarding refunds, cancellations, and general terms of service. These terms are intended to inform you of your rights and obligations when engaging with our services. Please ensure you understand these conditions before initiating a contract with us.

1. Non-refundable Services:

1. Vendor Events:

   1. Payments for vendor events are non-refundable under any circumstances once confirmed and paid.

   2. In exceptional circumstances, rollover credits may be issued for future events at the discretion of REC Toronto.

2. Marketing and Brand Management Services:

   1. ​Due to the bespoke nature of these services, all fees incurred in the provisioning of marketing and brand management are non-refundable.

2. Cancellation Policy:

1. If a client decides to cancel a service for reasons not due to any failure on the part of REC Toronto to provide the agreed-upon services, the following will apply:

   1. A cancellation fee of fifty percent (50%) of the total payment will be retained by REC Toronto as a "Kill Fee".

   2. The remaining fifty percent (50%) will be issued as a credit, applicable toward future services.

3. Service Delivery:

1. REC Toronto commits to delivering high-quality services in accordance with the specifications agreed upon in the service agreement.

2. Clients must provide all necessary information and cooperation required for REC Toronto to deliver services effectively.

4. Intellectual Property:

1. All creative materials developed by REC Toronto as part of any project will remain the property of REC Toronto until full payment has been received.

2. Upon receipt of full payment, the client will gain ownership of the final creative deliverables, excluding any underlying works or preliminary materials.

5. Late Payments:

1. Invoices are due upon receipt. Late payments may incur a late fee of 2% per month on any outstanding balance.

6. Modifications and Exceptions:

1. ​REC Toronto reserves the right to amend these policies at its discretion. Any modifications will be effective immediately upon posting on our website or direct communication to clients.​​

7. Credit Terms:

1. Credit issued for any service cancellation must be used within one year from the date of issuance and is not transferable.

8. Confidentiality:

1. REC Toronto will maintain the confidentiality of all client information and will not disclose such information unless required by law.

​

9. Dispute Resolution:

1. In the event of a dispute, both parties agree to seek an amicable resolution through negotiation or mediation before pursuing any legal action.
